Home groups are on duty only once every 3 months, so it's important that a week before the home group carries out it's duties, arrangements are made to assist at celebration services.

Responsibilities for Sunday Celebration duties are:

• The home group leader, as well as anyone else, must please join the prayer meeting at 8:15am before the morning service;
• At least 2 or 3 people should be on duty at the church doors half an hour before the service starts (30 minutes is the minimum time). These people must please check with the deacons or pastors to see if there is anything to be handed out, ie monthly bulletins, prayer pointers, etc. Please make visitors and church members feel welcome, and should they require any information, guide them to the information table;
  
• In the evenings, tea is served during school terms. For this reason, home groups on duty need to please arrive with enough time to switch on the urn and to set out the cups, milk, sugar and biscuits. Please set out 2 tables for the milk and sugar. Straight after the service, at least 2 people are needed to serve the tea and 2 people to wash up. Once tea has been served, please remember to switch off the urn at the wall, pack away the cups and saucers, and leave the kitchen in a neat and tidy condition.
